Compassion Practice Group

During these trying times I’ve been doing my best to practice self-compassion, which has included expanding the practice on to family, friends and the world around me. I’ve focused on finding a balanced approach that embodies both the human spirit and science, and my main resource recently has been the book Atlas of the Heart, by Brene Brown. Atlas of the Heart explores 87 emotions as well as other core human experiences such as belonging, the elements of trust + the connection between courage and vulnerability.

Every week I'm going to post a little quote derived from the book with some thoughts to consider, which will be posted on Instagram and Facebook.

Of course, you can just read the quote, but what I'm really hoping for is for some reflection, and if you’re open to it, share/comment on your experiences. Please note that the Facebook group will be private, as a way of making it a more intimate experience for everyone.
